Did you know...
... that today is Kentucky Derby Woman's Day? In 1970, Diane
Crump became the first woman to ride in the Kentucky Derby.
Her mount, Fathom, placed 15th in the 96th Kentucky Derby. Diane was also the first woman to ride in a pari-mutuel race
at Hialeah Park in 1969. Congratulations, Diane!
