Did you know...
... that today is the birthday of the Underseas National Park?
In 1960, Biscayne National Underwater Park, the first
underseas national park, opened near Key Largo, Florida.
Trivia fans: According to the National Park Service, Biscayne
National Park is home to 512 species of fish, and many of
these are visible to snorkelers and visitors on the
glass-bottom boat tour.
