Did you know...
... that today is Wonder Girl of the Air Day? On this date in 1930, English aviator Amy Johnson completed the first solo
airplane flight from England to Australia. She had started the
trip 23 days earlier on May 5th. Because of this feat and others, she was known as the wonder girl of the air.
