... that today is the birthday of XM Satellite Radio? In 2001,
XM Satellite Radio launched to the voice of Bob Marley. XM
Satellite Radio originally offered 100 channels of varied music and talk, with limited advertising on some and no commercials on more than 30 channels. The company started with 1.5 million pieces of music in a digital library to aim at markets ranging from opera to Latin romance.
