Did you know...
... that today is the anniversary of the Great Everest Balloon
Race? In 1991, Britons Leo Dickinson, Andy Elson, and Eric
Jones plus Australian Chris Dewhirst became the first people
to balloon over the world's highest peak, Mount Everest. Their hot-air balloon passed over the peak on October 21, 1991.
