Did you know...
... that today is the birthday of the St. Jude Hospital for Children? In 1962, the St. Jude Research Hospital for Children was opened in Memphis, Tennessee. St. Jude was founded by
entertainer Danny Thomas, with help from Dr. Lemuel Diggs, on the premise that "no child should die in the dawn of life."
