... that today is the Green Hornet's Birthday? In 1936, the first radio episode of The Green Hornet was broadcast on WXYZ Radio in Detroit, Michigan. Britt Reid, the Green Hornet, was
the grand nephew of John Reid, the Lone Ranger (both series were created by George Trendle and Fran Striker).
