Did you know...
... that today is Kindergarten Day? This day celebrates the
birthday of Friedrich Froebel (1782), who began the first
kindergarten in 1837 in Blankenburg, Germany. The first
kindergarten in a public school in the U.S. was started in St.
Louis, Missouri, in 1873.
