... that today is the New Zealand Woman Prime Minister Anniversary? In 1997, Jenny Shipley was sworn in as the first
woman to hold the office of prime minister of New Zealand, and the first, and to date, only woman to serve as parliamentary
leader of the National Party of New Zealand.
