... that today is Talk about the Weather Day? In 1897, newspaper editor Charles Dudley Warner of the "Hartford Courant" published his famous saying, "Everybody talks about the weather, but nobody does anything about it." This old
piece of weather humor used to be attributed to Mark Twain but
then quotation mavens determined it didn't exist in Twain's works.
