... that today is the London Underground Billionth Passenger
Anniversary? In 2001, Anna Angeli became the one billionth
passenger on the London Underground railway (the London Tube). Angeli was presented with a card allowing unlimited travel on the Underground for a year as well as a 500 pound ($700) travel voucher to help her escape London's transport woes!

... that today is the birthday of Nathaniel Currier (1813)?
The American printmaker of Currier and Ives was born in
Roxbury, Massachusetts. At the age of 15 he was apprenticed to
William and John Pendleton of Boston, who had set up the first
lithographic establishment in America. His apprenticeship
served him well as he went on to be the largest publisher of
lithographs.

... that today is the Army Medal of Honor Birthday? The first time a person was actually awarded the MOH, was on March 25, 1863. On that date, Pvt. Jacob Parrott was the first of a group of 6 men awarded the MOH for their actions in April 1862. Trivia fans: Theodore Roosevelt is the only President to have received the Medal of Honor.
